Routing workshop & Training

 

ISP Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) in collaboration with IBPC (ICT Business Promotion Council) has successfully organized Training & workshop on “BGP Routing” which held at the Drik ICT Conference Room, Dhanmondi, Dhaka from 26th to 28th June 2013,

The Training was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Hafizur Rahman, Deputy Coordinator, IBPC. Akhtaruzzaman Manju, President, ISPAB, Md. Emdadul Hoque, Secretary General, ISPAB, Subrata Sarker Shuvra, Treasurer, ISPAB, and S.M. Altaf Hossain, Chairman, Technical Standing Committee attended in the program.

Kamal Hossain, and Jahingir Hossain, IT Specialist was present on the program as honorable Trainer.

There are 30 IT professionals from different sectors (viz ISP, IGW, Telecom) has attended the Training Workshop. The main objective of the Training is to provide depth knowledge on BGP to the IT professionals. A detailed study of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), from the basics of how it works through to advanced issues such as route reflectors, policy, filtering, route selection and routing registries was trained. Practical hands on with Cisco routers follow the major sessions to reinforce the theory. Juniper configurations are also explored in the theory sessions. We believe, through training the participant understand the followings:
